...update

Jane has asked me to post a quick message.... she is still at home but feeling quite unwell. She has contracted an infection in one of operation sites on her leg. We have had swabs taken for analysis so the correct antibiotics can be prescribed but as you can imagine the infection is causing her a lot of upset.
We hope to get her on the path to recovery very soon....

Oh Thank you Martin you are a STAR..I, and I am sure many of your friends, have been worried about not hearing how things were. I had hoped that all was well but had that wee doubt...Now we know and I am sure Jane knows that she, and all of the family, are stil in our prayers. Try to keep smiling Jane and you WILL soon be feeling better once the antibiotics get going
Much Love Sybil xx

Thanks for the update, Martin, even if it is about a temporary set-back. Hope Jane will be back on that road to recovery very soon.

Thank you for letting us know. I am sure the doctors will soon find the best antibiotic. When i had septic shock it was marvelous how quickly the antibiotics kicked in.

Hope to hear she's back on her feet again soon, they have to get the right antibiotics to work first time around so very wise to take swabs. Keep the fluid levels up Jane and flush the system well. Always in my thoughts. xx

Martin, your post was sooooo great to read, even though I know it's difficult for Jane now with her infection. We've all been worrying how things have been going. Tell her to rest, she will be very tired with the infection. My hubby has two bad ones back in August, but once they grew the bacteria and figured out the exact meds for him to take, he's been good ever since. Sending best wishes her way!!!
