........my hair is falling out. Not exactly in clumps but certainly in handfuls. Im blessed with thick hair but even so I look like a tatty camel whos moulting ! The kitchen floor is covered in my hair, not matter how often I sweep it up. You can tell its mine by the tell tale attractive dark roots - I havnt had my highlights touched up for a while. Why arnt they grey ones falling out? I wouldnt mind that so much !
Its in dreadful condition too. So dry. It has the texture of a bowl of Shreddies and it makes no difference which, or how much, conditioner I use. Maybe I should have it cut really short? Or will it all fall out anyway? Hair loss isnt listed as a side effect of IL2 but 'hair thinning' is. There isnt a lot of difference is there? It means the same thing - your hair will fall out.
Funnily enough Ive noticed a certain amount of 'hair thinning' on my body too - especially on my legs and arms. Ive hardly any hair left on my arms at all now - I only had little fair hairs but now I have completely bald arms !
So what shall I do? Hang on to the rest of my hair or go and have it cut really short?

I'd cut it really short, Jane, and that way it can regrow at its own pace. Don't be surprised if its colour or texture changes dramatically.
Try one of those hot oil conditioning treatments, and maybe go for a shorter cut, just the hair loss/thinning isn't so noticable. Bet you looking forwar to your holiday next month.

I am sorry to hear this.... I think maybe you should think about getting it cut ,and see what the hair dresser has to say about it ,my hair has always been fine, like cobwebs ,take care ..love Jan xx

Have a sexy sassy shortcut. . have a word with the hairdresser and see what they can suggest.That coconut conditioner in a tub in superdrug is great too,your hair will feel like silk after.
Well, how about taking the novelty route and shaving your whole head, then painting it to look like an Easter egg? Hmmmm... no? Ok, then I'd go for shorter cut as there's not much point hanging on to your longer locks if they're not up to scratch, and your new look will be great on holiday. Hope you have a lovely time, xxx
I took the bull by the horns and got mine cut really short. I knew I had to.
Through being unwell and all the flaming tablets I take, I started to resemble a cross between Leo Sayer and Tina Turner In her heyday! lol. The body has a way of really kicking us when we are down by messing with our hair aswell!. I reckon getting a good cut as short as you dare will be just the tonic, especially with a fabulous holiday to follow. You just make sure nothing stands In the way of that!. :-) Love Pam xx
