Still shaking the sand from my shoes....

Cat and Ed enjoying the surf

......and Ive just heard from Christies.

My CT scan is booked for 11th Janurary - thats next Friday.

And if the result is favourable, ie there is shrinkage of the tumours or no progression in their growth, then Im scheduled for my next course of IL2 on 21st Janurary.

Just over 2 weeks away.

Just the thought of it fills me with dread......

I shall need another holiday !.....haha

I'll be quietly insensitive and say that it's a horrible balancing act. Tumours that have grown presage even worse news than another course of IL2, I'm bound to say. Wishing you strength for the 11th, and hope you get the lesser of two evils.

i was crying.. i fell over you blog by accident.  Wow your so brave, but like you say youve got to keep fighting.
Your spirit is an inspiration to others and you go girl go..
I am in good health so its not as if i can realate to your battle other then loosing my mum and dad 13 years ago and inbetween time my little neice Laura got lukemia..she was only the second little girl in the uk ever diagnoised with a genetic disorder where her good blood cells could not recreate, there was only one other case which was in scotland and we never knew the outcome of that.  Laura had a bone marrow transplant at the age of 4 and is now 17 and has a heart of gold.  Her battle was never advertised nationally and nor is your fight so i just thought i should tell you that my heart goes out to you for your bravery... (people chooe to join the army and are awarded a medal).  Im wishing you more strengh and encouragement and letting you know that people like you inspire my being.. (big hugs stranger)xx
