...update

Jane is managing to walk short distances using a zimmer frame. Progress is slow and she gets quite upset with her inability to be already running up and down the ward. She seems to have her appetite back and all her readings are good.
She has been told she could be going home by Tuesday next week. Fingers crossed...

Excellent news, Martin, to hear that Jane is now up and about, although not quite Speedy Gonzales.

Fantastic news, she must learn though to walk before she runs! Not sure how you will be able to pin her down though! She must listen to the physios! If she pushes herself too much she may set herself back in her recovery. Off course she knows this, but maybe a gentle reminder from her support team here will remind her too!
So pleased to hear she can go home it's always so much better to be at home recuperating than in a hospital routine.
Please give her my love,
Jackie x

Now I can just imagine that Jane would like to go scurrying down the hospital ward, but she has to take it one small step at a time. Jane, you have gone through all of this so well, please take care of yourself and don't overdo it. Next Tuesday is not that far away.
I just knew you would do great!!! Hang in and hang on...
